Is PDFPilot free?
Yes. Every available tool is free to use, with no account or sign-up.
Does PDFPilot upload my files?
No. Available tools read and process your files inside your browser on your own device. Your documents are not sent to a PDFPilot server.
How large can my PDF be?
Up to 100 MB per file. Large files use more of your device’s memory, so older phones may be slower.
How do I merge PDFs?
Open Merge PDF, choose two or more PDF files, arrange their order, then select Merge PDF and download the result.
Can PDFPilot compress a PDF to under 1 MB?
Often. Strong compression turns pages into compressed images, which shrinks scans and photo-heavy PDFs a lot. The exact result depends on the file, and PDFPilot shows the new size before you download.
Can I convert JPG to PDF?
Yes. Choose one or more JPG or PNG images, arrange them, pick a page size and create your PDF.
Can I use PDFPilot on my phone?
Yes. The site works on phones and tablets and uses your device’s file picker.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and nothing to install.
Can I convert PDF to Word or password-protect a PDF?
Not yet. PDF to Word, PDF to Excel, Protect, Unlock, Sign and Edit PDF are marked Coming Soon until they work reliably in the browser.
Can I process multiple files at once?
Merge PDF and JPG to PDF accept multiple files. Other tools process one PDF at a time.
